Introducing Carousel Composer

Carousel Composer is live in the PoeysiaPRO web workspace at pro.poeysia.com. It turns a topic into a finished social media carousel: a set of slides, exported as images, ready for a multi-image post.

The honest version of the backstory: this started as an internal tool. We had a set of slide templates and filled them in by hand, one slide at a time, then ran a script that screenshotted each one. It worked. We made real carousels with it. It was also slow and completely manual, and it only knew one brand: ours.

Carousel Composer is that idea rebuilt as a proper feature. You give it a topic, a link or a piece of writing. It drafts a full carousel concept: how many slides, what each one says, which layout each one uses. You review that draft, rewrite any slide, change a layout, reorder or remove slides, then render the set and export.

There is a library of slide layouts to draw from, for the shapes a carousel usually needs: a cover, a list, a single statistic, a quote, a comparison, a step, a closing call to action, and more. The draft picks from these, and you can change any choice.

The templates are no longer wired to one brand. Carousel Composer uses a brand kit: your colours, your fonts and your logo, so the exported slides look like your account and not like a default. Setting that up once is most of what makes the output usable.

The concept and copy are generated with the same approach as the rest of PoeysiaPRO. You choose how AI is provided, the same structured plan feeds both the online and the local path, and the tool does not make every editorial call for you. It drafts. You decide what actually ships.

Export gives you one image per slide, in 4:5 or 9:16. From there the set is ready for a carousel post.

Carousel Composer lives in the browser because it does not need a local machine to do its job. It uses your PoeysiaPRO account and plan: guests get a few preview sets, a free account adds more, and online generation is part of Premium. Local plans stay on the desktop app.

A later step is handing a finished carousel straight to the publishing workflow, so the path from topic to posted carousel stays in one place. For now, the draft-to-export loop is the part that was worth shipping first.
