Introducing Cutout — Keep the subject

Cutout is a focused browser tool for turning one JPG, PNG or WebP into a transparent PNG, with local processing and a free preview before you sign in.

A lot of image workflows begin with one small question: can I get the subject out of this picture? Opening a full design suite for that one step can be too much, and sending the image to another service can be the wrong trade-off for a private or unfinished asset.

That is why we built Cutout. It is a small, focused PoeysiaPRO tool for the handoff between an image you have and a transparent PNG you can actually use.

One job, done in the browser

Drop in a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB. Cutout shows the original beside a transparent preview, then lets you download the result as a PNG. There is no new project to create, no design canvas to learn and no collection of unrelated controls between the upload and the file you need.

The image processing happens in the browser. Cutout loads its background-removal model for the device, prefers WebGPU when the browser can use it and falls back to WebAssembly on the broader CPU path for the preview. Your source image is not uploaded to PoeysiaPRO for the operation.

That local-first choice also makes the boundary clear. Model files may be downloaded and cached by the browser, but the picture itself stays on the device while the background is removed.

Preview first, higher resolution when you need it

Everyone can create a free preview without an account. It is a useful way to check the subject, the edges and the general result before deciding whether the asset is ready to keep.

A free PoeysiaPRO account opens the higher-resolution download path on supported WebGPU devices. The preview and the full-size action are explicit in the interface, so you can see what is available on the current browser instead of finding out only after a long wait.

The current editor accepts images up to 20 MB, creates the preview at a practical browser-friendly size and caps the higher-resolution export at 4K dimensions. That keeps the workflow useful without pretending that every phone or laptop has the same memory and graphics budget.

A focused remove.bg alternative

Cutout is not trying to replace Canva, PhotoRoom or a developer API. Those are the right tools when you need layouts, product production, batch work or a repeatable integration. Cutout is for the simpler case: one image, one transparent result and a clear next step.

That makes it a practical alternative for people who want the direct file without opening a larger creative suite. It also gives us a place to be honest about what the product is: a focused browser workflow, not an enterprise image platform hidden behind a bigger promise.

A useful handoff

The transparent PNG can stay a finished asset, or it can become part of another PoeysiaPRO job. Bring it into Carousel Composer when a cutout belongs in a branded social sequence. Start in Clips when the source is a recording and the subject needs to become part of a short-form video.

This is the direction we want the wider PoeysiaPRO workspace to take: small tools that finish the annoying step in front of you, then get out of the way. Cutout does one thing, keeps the privacy story understandable and leaves the creative decision with you.

If all you need is the subject on transparency, open Cutout and keep moving.
